Early shuttle from San Jose to the Caribbean coast town of Cahuita (actually very near Panama again) There is a great national park on the beach here, very clean, very beautiful with monkeys a sloths.

Arrived at 10:30 am, too early to check in, so a walk through the park,

rooted

great park, so well maintained

familiar species, very bold

monkeys carousing, sloths there too but hard to photo

then checked into Casa de las Flores, run by a high powered, little Italian woman, Roberta

Breakfast first course

The town is a Caribe surf town with also indigenous roots.

This is not the only speed bump in town

Las Olas for great ceviche and camarones
